The drive we made today from Calgary to Saskatoon was by far the longest-feeling drive yet. We started the morning comfortably in The Ashley Hundred house (They’re amazing; send them some love) and made a detour to Drumheller on our way to Saskatoon. The most interesting thing on the drive was watching cloud formations change, and then douse us in an intense rainstorm. By the time we arrived at the venue, our windshield was completely cleansed of bug remains.
The Capitol is a nice, clean venue with nice sound – it was a relaxing show to play the day before we start the 27 hour drive to Sudbury tomorrow. Hopefully we’ll all get amazing sleeps tonight.
