Our First Wax!!

Remember that album that we released eight months ago and started touring? Well, it’s finally here in the waxiest form possible.

With the generous support and elbow grease of Tim at Kingfisher Bluez, “The Light In You Has Left” is now available on vinyl. It has been an enormous learning process for us bringing a 12” to life. The artwork, edits, time spent waiting for it to arrive, it was a challenge but it’s oh so gratifying to see it in the buff. Tim has put out some of the best local music in Vancouver, to be on his label for this release is both a humbling and elating prospect.

On top of all the great news, we have a vinyl release show coming up in a few weeks. It’s going to be at Stylus Records on June 9. If you’ve been hoping to get loud and close with us, this one will be a special intimate show with a couple of great bands. So, don’t forget to listen to The Jins and Casual Luxury before the show so you can shout over the amps. You may even see a few of us backing up one of the bands… who knows?  FACEBOOK EVENT

Thank you for your unconditional support, hope to see you soon!

Jer, Pat, Alea

As with most everyone around the world, we are disgusted by the most recent events in the United States, and the colossal damage it’s created in such a short amount of time. There is a terrible evil brewing, and it’s going to take a lot for us to overthrow it.

In the meantime, we need to support one another and stand together. For all of February, ALL our digital sales will be going to Planned Parenthood Action and CCLA on Bandcamp. Bandcamp themselves will be donating their share of the profits to ACLU as well. Pay as much or as little as you want.
Be open and vulnerable, show people you care about them. Now and every other moment in time is the perfect time to do good in the world. <3

Record Release Show

We owe everyone that came out on Friday night a huge thank you; we were overwhelmed with how many new faces we met and how well received we were. Thank you to Victoria for joining us on bass, and thank you to Royal Canoe for having us! It was an amazing show and we had a fantastic time playing the Imperial stage – we hope we’ll be back on it sooner than later! Can’t wait to see what this album cycle has in store for us. We’re working hard on some new things, and we’re excited to share them with you. xo
